Bill and Kelley Salerno opened their full menu pizzeria in the fall of 2009. They spent over 3 months converting an art studio into a full menu pizzeria that also offers 10 flavors of Gelato.
We are working with a long time special pizza recipe of Kelley's Nonna, Giselle Tavernini. The recipe, a solid favorite of customers in Portage (western Pennsylvania) where Giselle had her own Pizza shop for over 40 years.
The pizzas and calzones are cooked in a conveyor belt oven that bakes dough and the toppings into a crispy, crusty original pizza in eight minutes.
At La Pizzeria we are an active part in the Little Italy community and look forward to serving you and your family.
